💰 Affiliate Disclosure

Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency matters. Here is exactly how Discount Hub earns money and how it affects the deals you see.

Short version: When you click a deal link and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the merchant. This costs you nothing extra, and we do not let commissions decide which deals we show.

What is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a standard way deal and coupon websites are funded. A merchant gives us a unique tracking link. When you click that link, visit the merchant's site, and complete a qualifying purchase, the merchant pays us a referral commission — typically 1–15% of the sale value depending on the category.

You pay exactly the same price you would pay going directly to the merchant. The commission comes out of the merchant's marketing budget, not your pocket.

Which networks do we use?

Amazon Associates

Tag: discounthu0d3-20. Covers Amazon deals globally.

Rakuten Advertising

Publisher SID: 4696805. Covers fashion, travel, and retail.

Awin

Covers European and global merchant programmes.

CJ Affiliate

Covers a broad range of retail and tech merchants.

Impact.com

Covers software, SaaS, and direct brand programmes.

Direct deals

Some merchants partner directly with us outside a network.

Does this affect which deals we show?

No. Our deal selection is based on discount depth, relevance to shoppers in your region, and deal freshness — not commission rate. A 70% off deal from a zero-commission merchant will outrank a 5% off deal from a high-commission partner.

We also show deals from merchants we do not have affiliate relationships with, because our goal is to be the most useful deal aggregator for shoppers in Africa and worldwide.

FTC and ASA compliance

In accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) requirements, we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly. This page and the footer note on every page serve as our site-wide disclosure.
